Training! Day 3
DEPARTMENT OF THE ARMY
HEADQUARTERS INDEPENDENT GAMING GROUP
INDEPENDENT GAMING TACTICS COMMAND
From: Col O. Hebron
(Intelligence Officer, IGTC, S-3 )
We're now on the 3rd day of training, good job so far.
Today we will be doing a night-time assault on the town of Oreokastro.
The premise on this training will be to utilize most of what we've done so far but in a night-time setting, with heavy gear restrictions, thus requiring element leaders to coordinate not only between themselves, but with their fireteams aswell to be able to deliver accurate fire onto the enemy.
You will be moving up towards the town, all the while ensuring coordination with the different teams to make sure you do not get ambushed
Once you reach the town, there will be vehicular assets in different parts of the town, your primary objective is to destroy all these targets. Keep in mind however that enemy infantry will most likely have garrisoned the town itself, making reckless movements troughout it extremely dangerous.
After objective has been completed, fall back to the armory for debrief.
N.B: The enemy has a large airbourne QRF stationed to the south, be aware that when we start our attack on the town, it will probably be between 20-30 minutes until the QRF arrives, it's highly recommended that if you're still in the town by then, that you expedite the completion of your objective, or pull back. An organized retreat will be expected from you.
