INDEPENDENT GAMING TACTICS COMMAND
From: Col O. Hebron
(Intelligence Officer, IGTC, S-3 )
We're continuing our squad based training from last week.
This is both for generally improving team-building and coordination, as well as preparing for squads working more tightly togheter once we move back to the 2 squad system.
We'll be starting this weekends training at our new Mk2-Armory, located near the Altis International Airport. from there we will move into the open fields near the airport, and start our formations and movement training, this will be the shortest part of this weekends excercise. After some time, the squad will be given a few minutes warning, and should start organizing a defense, a general area will be designated for this exercise, and will continue until the time alotted for this excercise has passed, or the entire squad is considered KIA.
After this we will treat any training injuries, pack up, and head for a C-130 Hercules stationed at the terminal of the airport, parachutes will be provided to each participant once we get there.
The aircraft will then take off, climb to about 5000m, and head to the paradrop training area. Here each fireteam will eject one by one as a group, and attempt to land as close to the designated area as possible. Once all members are on the ground and accounted for, we will begin our last excercise of the day, which will be an assault on a small outpost located in open terrain. Once the outpost has been reached, search for and capture the officer stationed there.
Uniform: G3 Uniform (Multicam)
Vest: IOTV OCP/OEF-CP
Helmet: FAST Ballistic (Multicam Cover) variant
We will primarly be doing open field training today, so utilizing medium range scopes is recommended, each fireteam will probably also benefit from having a designated marksman in their element.
Anti-Tank will not be needed in this mission.
