Rocket and Missile Launcher Assessment Course
In the MLAC-1 Rocket and Missile Launcher Assessment Course the participants gets tested on their ability to use various Rocket/Missile launchers. Instructors will be letting the participants know when to retrieve each of the launchers, and any ammo if applicable, all whilst proceeding down the checklist. Instructors will act as the second member of the 2-man team if no other participant is available.
To pass this checklisted training you can only fail to demonstrate one minor qualification. Failing to demonstrate any of the 2 major profficiencies will also result in a failure. The examiner will explain why you failed these points and what you can do to pass them. The test can be retaken after a period of seven days. Only the points that led to the previous failure will be reassessed.
- (MAJ) Know why and how to properly communicate with nearby friendlies whilst utilizing Rocket/Missile Launchers.
- (MAJ) Know the prodcedures and how to effectively use the following AT Launchers, as well as their effective range.
- M136 (AT4)
- M3 MAAWS
- SMAW MK153 Mod 0
- FGM-148 (Javelin)
- FIM-92 (Stinger)
- (MINOR) Know how to effectively work well in a 2-man team with all of the above launchers.
