Operation Shackled Main mission 2
From: Col O. Hebron
(Intelligence Officer, IGTC, S-3 )
Karift, Zhapir and Kunara are low on supplies. The people are suffering from the drought that has this region in its grasp. And if the drought wasn’t enough, the terrorist threat rages on around the borders of these affected villages. Food, water and medical supplies were specifically requested by the locals, and it is our task to fulfill this important and urgent request.
You, as fellow ambassadors and devoted to the UN will depart from the Airport. You will be transported by helicopter to your designated location, known as Bushlurker Camp. This base will sport the supplies needed, and the vehicles requested to deliver them with.
This should be a peaceful mission, without too many complications. It is still advised to tread with caution as the roads you will be venturing on have been targeted before by the terrorist organisation IS. Which means that the roads ahead can show traces of old mines that have not been disposed of, or partly active Improvised Explosive Devices (IED).
The civilians will be welcoming towards you. They have been waiting for these supplies for a long time, and they will offer support whenever they can. But as you will be venturing through previously hostile territory, it is advised to keep an eye out for IS supporters and eavesdroppers.
News Update Reporting from the ever lively Badghis and Bala Murghad. The IS has struck again. The terrorists have released a rain of bullets and explosions upon the UN. The UN was on a supply run to Karift, Zhapir and Kunara. They were deployed to deliver medical supplies, water and food to the civilians. Their peaceful mission was heavily interrupted by a terrorist attack, who were using heavy machinery and explosions. The UN has suffered heavy losses by the hands of these terrorists. The USA has reported that they will focus on their combat effectiveness, ensuring that this won’t happen again. It has yet to be confirmed if they are going to counter their losses by taking out the terrorists in return. This was Adeline Bailey reporting in, and hopefully matters will be resolved during my live report on the scene.
