The position of Roleplayer is a specialized position with a lot of responsibility.
A roleplayer will for the most part, be working under a missionmaker and/or gamemaster(zeus) for the purpose of making missions more interactable and dynamic.
As an example, the gamemaster might want to simulate that civillians are against the players, and thus he/she can have someone in the roleplayer position take control of a civillian, with the intent of trying to lure the players into an ambush. This will allow the gamemaster to focus on setting up said ambush.
Roleplayers can be considered as an extension and subordinate of the gamemaster. helping him interact with the players, or take control of enemy soldiers to supress and sometimes even shoot to kill players depending on the situation.
Those who take up this position however, are expected to do their best to get into character of the people they control however, in terms of both voice and character acting.
Roleplayers will more often than not have direct access to the zeus interface, and with that comes the responsibility mentioned at the top of this description, negligence can in the worst case ruin the entire evening for everyone involved, which is why specialized training will be given to those who want to take on the position of Roleplayers.
The responsibility of this role is so great, that if it is determined that anyone takes advantage of this role to harass players, both individually or in groups, they could face a permanent ban from IGT.
While this is the case for any harassment of anyone within IGT from any position, it becomes much more severe in this role, as a Roleplayer will have tools at their disposal to ruin a persons evening completely.
