After you destroyed the supplies and armor support intended to resupply and reinforce the enemy force in the north, they where forced to fall back. Our own forces now control most the eastern areas and roads leading up to the town of Pepinal.
In the south our forces are having a bit more trouble, they've secured themselves a beachhead thanks to air support from reaper, and are trying to move towards the Yolandi Airport and its accompanying town, but have met hard resistance from the garrison there.
We'd hoped we had been able to secure more of the island by now, but since our forces got bogged down in the mental asylum castle, we where unable to help our southern forces push further early on, and at this point we do not have time to reinforce them.
The reason we're short on time however, is that we've focused a great deal of resources ensuring the Korean Aegis operation will be successful, and as such other fronts have suffered. So much so that if we are to have any hope of forcing a cease-fire at this point, Korean Aegis needs to succeed.
Due to your track record in the operation so far, your platoon has been assigned a key role in our final stage of the operation. You'll be deployed to Camp Fisher aproximately 1 click south west of your last AO, further up into the mountains. We have actually had assets in place here from before the war began, preparing and waiting for the right time to enact our plan. As such Camp Fisher is by now, thanks to our engineering corps, special forces and undercover agents, heavily fortified.
You'll be deploying there at 03:00 in the morning, and begin helping in final preparations of our defenses.
You will get a more detailed brief in person by Sentinel when you arrive.
